Milk is boiling on the gas stove. You are an observer. The milk starts overflowing and you do nothing. What is the point of being an observer when you do not use your power to switch of the gas Knob.

Tap is running and the bucket is getting filled. You are an observer. What fun is it if you let the water overflow and get wasted? If you are mindful and close the tap on time on time then only you are being honest to yourself and nature.

When I do important chores which are not interesting, a part of my mind starts complaining. This chattering mind either spoils my work or it spoils my mood. If I give some calming or entertaining activity to this complainer part of my mind, I become more focused and am able to overcome any frustration of boredom.

I start singing positive affirmations in my favourite tunes. I pickup music from my favourite Bollywood or Hollywood songs. I use variety of affirmations e.g. I am happy, I am peaceful, I am the super power, I am silence, I am the sky, the wind and the earth, I am the light etc. Click here for some affirmations that I enjoy.
